DESCRIPTION
Elma’s all-new CompacFrame platform accelerates development
and test of 3U plug-in-cards (PICs) designed according to the
VITA 48.8, Air Flow Through Cooling standard. The 3U card
cage in the platform is tilted upwards by 5° for easier card access.
The CompacFrame accepts multiple1- slot VPX power & ground
backplanes in 1”, 1.2” or 1.5” pitch or the AFT specific 5 slot
backplane (1SVX306APP-1X31, 1.5” pitch).

■ Battery for VBAT connection
■ Includes VITA 46.11 chassis manager with rear accessible
Ethernet and serial ports
■ Slot 1 of 1SVX306APP-1X31 backplane is an I/O Intensive slot
that supports 3U RTM plus access to Expansion Plane for cabling
connections.
■ Slots are for 1.5” VITA 48.8 -3UB (bottom to top airflow)
